Reiki

Reiki is the Japanese word meaning universal life force energy.

The two Kanji (Japanese alphabet) components are Rei, meaning universal, transcendental spirit essence and Ki, signifying the vital life force energy.

Reiki is a form of hands-on healing discovered in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui- in the mid-1800s. He and the Buddhist monks with whom he consulted believed it to be the mean by which Guatama Siddhartha (Buddha) healed.

Reiki healing is natural, simple and extremely powerful. The only requirement for practice is an open heart and a willingness to receive. The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This takes place during an attunement given by a Reiki Master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life.

Reiki can be done from a distance.

Disclaimer: Reiki is not intended to replace or substitute for medical care from your physician. It should be viewed as an augment to the natural healing processes of your body.
